Madness I Got Nuthin

I know I previously posted this comic before but as I said in the blog post I crashed  the site and since this week I have nothin’ it seems appropriate to post this again since my previous post is gone.  Here are some character sketches for a new comic I’m working on for my daughters, but right now I’m working on a more personal piece called “Cancer Blows so why not Chew Bubblegum” coming soon to urls near you. It’s all about my experiences with cancer with my diagnosis with a humorous twist. I’ll post as soon as I work my way back to page one. I sort of started in the middle and am working my way back and then will move forward as my treatments go. So updates will be sporadic. Sorry for the wait.

Cancer Blows, So why not chew Bubblegum :D

Well I have been very inactive for some time now and mainly due to feeling like crap and barely being able to walk. Turns out I have Non Hodgkins T-cell Lymphoma ALK- which in it’s simplest terms means I have Cancer. So far so good the first chemo therapy hasn’t been so bad but I’m getting through. The worst seems to be a laundry list of medications I have to take now that I’m on chemo. So I am off work for the next month and I guess I will utilize this time when I’m feeling well to explore my artistic side. I usually don’t get so much time to myself so I better use it wisely. I now understand why you should live your life to the fullest while you can. You never know how long your time on this Earth will be. Now I’m terminal and not gonna die, it is treatable but it’s going to be a long rough road ahead. I would like to take the time to bless all my friends here in cyberspace who have encouraged me in my art. Now I ask you to all have a prayer for me to get over this as quickly as possible…a.k.a. the not dead kind of get over it LOL. Well all it’s a great pleasure and honor knowing you and I wish it were outside cyberspace as well as in.

Sorry Bad News

Hello Friends and Fans, I know I said I would be updating soon but I’ve been diagnosed with cancer…yep the big “C”. Good news it’s treatable. So as soon as I get far along enough with my chemo therapy and can get out of this hospital bed and back to my cintiq I will start posting again. Any fellow artists out there with guest strips I will greatly appreciate it. So until the Doc let’s me outta here. Keep your minds open and you creativity flowing.
